My Approach
Together, we reflect and slow down so that you can see clearly. Then we get to changing what matters.
I believe that when we feel seen, heard, trusted and held, in all of the many ways that we show up in life, we are more able to empower ourselves, our children, and the people with whom we work. We will work to cultivate the Five Senses needed to participate fully and healthfully in the world: belonging, competence, influence, usefulness, and respect for self and others.
Entering into a coaching relationship as a parent or leader means honestly and mindfully committing to being aware of your thoughts, beliefs, and actions.
As your coach, I will guide you to a place rooted in your values and goals. We will practice removing fear and fantasy from your actions, and in doing so, you will be equipped to respond compassionately to whatever comes your way.
The Five Senses
How I Approach This Work
-

Inquiry
We will start with what’s actually happening and what reflect upon your goals. As your guide and mirror, I listen deeply, ask a lot of questions, and share contexts from different perspectives.
We will gather your points of tension, look for trends, dissect your strategies and map next steps.
-

Investigation
Together we will investigate what’s underneath behaviors and responses. We will explore the role that development, temperament, stuck or learned behaviors, stories and situations may have in the points of tension that you are experiencing.
We will notice what the behaviors and responses might be trying to protect or communicate.
-

Implementation
I will not impose or overlay a particular set of values, but will help you get clear on what is getting in the way and reconnect you to your own goals and values.
We will identify key shifts in language, routines, boundaries, scripts, and experiences. You will receive adaptable rituals and strategies you can continue to apply long after our work together.
